Using this site means you accept these terms. They are short on purpose.
What this site is
Volunteers run this site. It is about Case ZONE-26-0007, a rezoning request before the Town of Prosper. We are asking the Town to say no to it, and we say that out loud on every page.
Read this site as information. For legal advice, talk to your own lawyer. Reading this page does not make us your lawyer.
Facts and opinions
We keep the two apart on purpose. The whole value of this site is that you can check it.
- Facts come from public records. The application. The Town staff report. Published ordinances. Peer-reviewed research. News reporting. Sources are listed on the main page.
- Numbers from the applicant are the applicant's own claims. We label them that way instead of adopting them.
- Everything else is opinion about a public question: how a town should zone land next to homes. People can disagree, and we welcome that argument in front of the Commission.
We fix mistakes
Is something here wrong? Tell us at privacy@zonewisely.com. We check it against the source and fix it fast. A fix costs us nothing. Being wrong costs us everything.
Signing the petition
When you sign, you confirm the information is yours and that it is true. One signature per person. We remove duplicates and anything clearly fake, because a padded list is worse than a short one.
Signing makes you a member of nothing. It does not require you to show up, speak, or give money.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. It may go down. It may have errors. A public hearing can change the facts in a single evening, and this page may lag behind.
Limits on our liability
In plain words: read this site, then make your own decisions. How those decisions turn out is on you.
We limit our liability as far as Texas law allows. The volunteers who run this site are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. That covers loss from your use of the site. It covers loss from anything you read here. It covers any choice you make, or do not make, because of it. Where the law does not let us exclude liability, our total liability is capped at one hundred U.S. dollars.
This does not limit liability for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited.

We link to news, government pages, and research. We do not run those sites. We are not responsible for what they say or do.
Which law applies
Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute belongs in the courts of Denton County, Texas.
